    Abstract
    The study was conducted in the experimental field of Department of Entomology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur, during the period from February to June, 2016 to evaluate the effect of some commercially produced botanicals along with a chemical insecticide and an untreated control applied against okra shoot and fruit borer (Earias vittella Fab.). The treatments were, T:= Bioneem Plus at the rate of 1 ml/L of water, T2= Mahogony oil at the rate of Sml/L of water, T3= Ecomec 1.8EC at the rate of lmIl/L of water, T= Ripcord 10EC at the rate of 1ml/L of water and Ts = Untreated control. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications.
