    Abstract
In-vitro experiment were conducted with plant extracts (Hydrocotyl asiatica, Syzygium cuminii, Zingiber officinale, Ipomoea __fistulosa, Allamanda cathertica, Azadirachta indica, Allium sativum, Polygonum hydropiper, Aegle marmelos, Tagetes erecta) and bio-control agent (Trichoderma harzianum) on seed borne pathogen (Bipolari sorokiniana, Alternaria tenuis, Curvularia sp. Fusarium sp.) of wheat (var. kanchan) to evaluate their effect on seed health, germination, seedling vigour, shoot and root length of wheat seedling Neem-leaf extract (Azadirachta indica) showed superior performance among the treatments in increasing seed germination, shoot and root length, vigour index as well as in reduction the seed borne pathogen causing less disease incidence as evident with a promising seed treating agent.
