Collections
Abstract
This study evaluated the impact of the workplace environment on employee performance
within some manufacturing companies in Bangladesh. Utilizing a survey methodology,
primary data was collected via questionnaires distributed to 300 managers, supervisors, and
non-managerial staff in manufacturing companies located in Bangladesh's northern region.
Surveys were conducted both offline and online in order to reduce interpretation differences
between participants and the researcher. In order to assure precise results, the study used the
structural equation model (SEM), which is based on the Partial Least Square (PLS) software.
Training and development have a favorable influence on performance, and the results show a
considerable positive association between corporate culture and employee performance.
Organizational culture is critical to worker productivity and organizational development,
according to the study's findings. The performance of employees at work is also highly
influenced by their well-being. It was discovered, however, that there was a substantial
inverse association between job happiness and productivity. The study recommended that
organizations integrate a job satisfaction approach into their systems. Furthermore,
management should consistently focus on enhancing organizational culture and training
programs to boost employee performance. The research findings are intended to guide the
management of manufacturing firms operating in emerging economies.
