| dc.description.abstract | The present study was aimed to examined the impact of follicular cyst on local immune
system. A total 40 reproductive tract sample were collected from abettors. Ovarian follicular
cysts are anovulatory follicular formations found in dairy cows. Cysts were thought to be
solid objects that remained for a long duration. Uterine swabs were taken from the uterine
endometrium and mixed with 10 millilitres of PBS solution for bacterial cell culture. During
uterine samples examination, immune cells, such as neutrophils and lymphocytes were found
in follicular cystic conditions. The inflammatory response to the level of bacterial
contamination is more important than the presence of a specific type of bacteria. The current
investigation provided evidence for the localized impact of uterine bacterial contamination on
the ovary after parturition. The microbiological analysis of the uterine sample revealed E.
coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in the uterus of ovarian follicular cystic disease;
whereas, the normal uterus did not exhibit any developing bacteria. Additionally,
antibacterial antibiotic sensitivity was conducted to determine the antibiotic sensitivity of the
colonized bacteria. It was found that there was no antimicrobial resistance at all.
Histopathology of the follicular cystic ovary and uterus were carried out, which contained
inflammation and fibrous tissue. A well-developed mucosal immune system in the uterus and
ovary maintains local immunity by releasing a multitude of substances that change the way
underlying resident immune cells function and provide immunological defense against
foreign particles. So, in order to prevent metabolic issues and maximize the ration throughout
the peri-partum; health measures should be optimized during parturition and postpartum. | en_US |
