    Abstract
A field experiment work was conducted at the Agronomy research field, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur-5200 during the Rabi season from November 2022 to March 2023 to assess the impact of varied GA3 concentrations on growth, yield and yield traits of mustard var. BARI Sarisha-18 (Canola type). Six levels of GA3 concentrations viz. G0 = 0 ppm (control), G1 = 15 ppm, G2 = 30 ppm, G3 = 45 ppm, G4 = 60 ppm and G5 = 75 ppm were applied at the vegetative stage, before and after flowering, and the siliqua formation stage. The experiment was designed in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The results showed that 60 ppm of GA3 significantly influenced the plant height (cm), number of leaves plant-1, number of flowers plant-1, root length (cm), leaf morphology, total fresh and dry weight plant-1 (g), number of branches plant-1, number of siliqua plant-1, number of seed siliqua-1, single siliqua weight (g), siliqua length (cm), thousand-seed weight (g), biological yield (t ha-1), stover yield (t ha-1), seed yield (t ha-1) and harvest index (%). The highest result of thousand-seed weight (4.50 g), biological yield (5.16 t ha-1), stover yield (2.68 t ha-1), seed yield (2.48 t ha-1) and harvest index (48.10%) were obtained from the application of 60 ppm GA3. But the lowest result of thousand-seed weight (3.80 g), biological yield (4.25 t ha-1), stover yield (2.31 t ha-1), seed yield (1.92 t ha-1) and harvest index (45.17%) were obtained from the control. So, it could be concluded that GA3 at 60 ppm significantly increased all the parameters of mustard variety BARI Sarisha-18.
