    Abstract
An experiment was conducted to study the effect of different organic soil mixture on the growth and yield of cauliflower at the research area of Department of Soil Science, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur, Bangladesh during July to December 2022. The experiment was laid out in CRD with three replications. The treatments of this experiment were T1- Control (only soil), T2-50% Soil +20% Cow dung+20% VC +5% Sand +5% Coco dust +2.0 g kg-1 Bone meal powder, T3-45% Soil +20% Cow dung +25% VC+5% Sand + 5% Coco dust + 1.5 g kg-1 Bone meal powder, T4-45% Soil +25% Cow dung + 20% VC +5% Sand+ 5% Cocodust+1.5 g kg-1 Bone meal powder, T5- 40% Soil +20% Cow dung + 20% VC + 15% Sand+ 5% Cocodust+2.0 g kg-1 Bone meal powder, T6-35% Soil +25% Cow dung +25% VC + 10% Sand +5% Coco dust+ 1.0 g kg-1 Bone meal powder, T7-35% Soil +25% Cow dung +25% VC + 5% Sand+ 10% Coco dust+ 1.0 g kg-1 Bone meal powder. The seedlings of the Fulcopi Marvel were collected from Krishi Mela, Gopalganj, Sadar, Dinajpur. A pot culture experiment under shade house was used to grow the cauliflower plant. From the results it was revealed that the maximum plant height (61.0 cm), root diameter (14.00 cm), number of leaves plant-1 (22.33), leaf length (28.66 cm), total fresh weight of leaf (113.67 g), curd weight pot-1 (300 g), diameter of curd (15.00 cm), biological yield (413.67 g pot-1) and Harvest Index was recorded from T4 treatment. Control treatment gave the worst result. The topmost total N (0.03 %), available P (57.25 ppm), and available S (128.60 ppm) was recorded from T3 treatment. The control treatment again gave the lowest result in most of the cases. The T6 treatment gave the second highest performance in most of the cases. Considering the overall result of the study it can be concluded that T4 (45% Soil +25% Cow dung + 20% VC +5% available S and+ 5% Cocodust+1.5 g kg-1 Bone meal powder) and T6 (35% Soil +25% Cow dung + 25% VC +10% Sand+ 5% Cocodust+1 g kg-1 Bone meal powder) would be effective for organically cauliflower production under rooftop condition.
