Abstract
Country Branding is the process of earning reputation for a country by utilizing its inner
resources and opportunities, which are original and inspiring to the outer world. Proper
country Branding is one of the long term solutions to the economic development of any
country and it is absolutely true in case of beautiful Bangladesh This article seeks to
interrogate the concept of country Branding and to look at its problems and prospects.
The study was exploratory in nature and it was conducted on the basis of literature
review and secondary data analysis qualitatively and quantitatively. The method of data
collection includes secondary source- journals, published articles, text books, periodicals,
directories, and primary source- data collection through questionnaire. SPSS tools was
used to calculate the prospect of promising sectors. The study reveals that effective,
efficient and consistent country Branding can help countries attract foreign investment,
promote tourism and trade and increase exports. The findings of the research are
expected to assist concerned authorities in developing successful new country Branding
products and services that will help to build a strong position in the competitive arena.
Hopefully this paper will be helpful for awaking our consumers and making responsible
to come forward for unbeaten nation Branding for Bangladesh.
