    Abstract
    After studying numerous theoretical concepts during the various coursework’s of my MBA program at Majoring in Finance, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Bangladesh as well as the internship program provides an opportunity to evaluate my concept with the practical implications and applications of my banking experiences. This report is based on practical working experience at The Prime Bank Limited. The Prime Bank Limited came into being in 1995 with the objective of bringing about a qualitative change in sphere of banking and financial management, the bank today serves its customers usefully and collecting funds from the surplus units of the economy in the form of deposit and mobilize deposit to the deficit units of the economy in the form of credit. The noble intention behind starting this bank was to bring about qualitative changes in the sphere of banking and financial management. Today The Prime Bank Limited serves its customers at home and abroad with 145 branches spread over the country and about three hundred oversea correspondences. The overall services of Prime Bank Ltd. could be segregate into 3(three) major departments: 1.General Banking Department 2.Credit Department 3.Foreign Exchange Department. This report has been presented based on observation of General Banking Department. General Banking is the starting of all banking operation. It is the department which provides day to day services to the customer. It opens new account; remit funds, issue bank draft and pay order etc provide customer through quick and sincere service is the goal of the General Banking department. Hence, now a day the banking technology is changing very fast. As a commercial bank Prime Bank limited represent the new dimension introducing ALTITUDE, Online Cash Management System (For Corporate customer) & BATCH (Bangladesh Automated clearing House) Rsys (Retail Credit Processing System), E-doc (Electronic Documentation),for the fastest service & support to the customer.
