Abstract
This report is completed as a partial requirement of my internship. The
purpose of this report was to understand the various aspects & phases,
which are involved in promotional process for marketing plan. I have done
my internship on “Measuring Customer Satisfaction level towards the
existing facilities of Chinese restaurant in Dinajpur city of Bangladesh. (A
comparative study between Sananda and Yammy Chinese restaurant)”. I
started to collect different primary and secondary information about
Sananda and Yammy restaurant, and visited a number of clients survey for
existing customer of Sananda and Yammy restaurant. On the basis of these
collected data, I came up with different comparative study. First, I assessed
& adjusted their core strategy. I did some internal analysis. I used SWOT to
classify restaurants internal strength, weakness, opportunity & threat. I also
found that restaurants fall under the category of various intensive & diverse
family groups. I decided to follow comparative Marketing Plan for
Promotional strategy. Then I segment restaurant market into different
groups. I selected the most potential sector for restaurants by considering
different aspects of Bangladesh. The secondary data helped me a lot and try
to use Promotional mix tools. This report was an excellent opportunity for
me to understand the process of business. In the last chapter of the given
report, some recommendations have been made regarding promotion,
advertisement, direct marketing and personal selling issues in restaurant
business.
