The experiment was conducted at research field and laboratory of the Department of Crop Physiology and Ecology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur during the period of December 2017 to April 2018. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with three replications. Each replication then divided into six unite plot of 2.0 m 1.5 m sizes. The distance between block to block was 1m and plot to plot was 0.5 m. The experiment comprised of two factors- A: Two concentrations level of GA (Control and 300 ppm) B: Four tomato varieties- (Moharaza, Konok, Bipul Plus and BARI tomato 4). Plant height, number of leaves per plant, number of branches, days required for first flowering initiation, days required for 50% flowering initiation, days required for fruit setting, fruits cluster plant-1, fruits cluster-1, fruits plant-1, length of fruit, diameter of fruit, weight tomato-1, yield plant-1, yield plot-1 and yield ha-1 were significantly influenced by the combined application of GA and varieties of tomato. BARI tomato 4 attained the highest fruit yield with 300 ppm GA and lowest yield was observed in Konok at control condition. GA treated plots showed better performance for growth parameters and yield compared to control condition. Therefore, 300 ppm GA was more suitable for tomato cultivation compared to control condition. Among the treatment combination, BARI tomato 4 with 300 ppm GA was superior from others tomato varieties (Bipul plus, Moharaza and Konok) and Konok was inferior from others tomato varieties (BARI tomato 4, Moharaza and Bipul plus). GA treated plots of Moharaza and Bipul plus was showed the intermediate results for yield and yield attributing characteristics.en_US
