The present study has been designed to survey the major diseases of citrus and guava in different orchards of Dinajpur and Thakurgaon district to find out their effective control measures under the supervision of Department of Plant Pathology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur during July, 2017 to May, 2018. Four treatments viz. Iprodione @ 2 g/L (T1), Copper oxychloride @ 3 g/ L (T2), Mancozeb @ 3 g/L (T3) and Control (T0) were applied for controlling the diseases (canker, scab, anthracnose and die-back) of citrus leaves and diseases (algal rust, anthracnose and die-back) of guava leaves recorded in orchards of Dinajpur and Thakurgaon districts. Out of tested fungicides, Iprodione was found superior in action exhibiting the lowest disease severity to control the canker (2.33%) and scab (2.33%) diseases of citrus in different orchards of Thakurgaon and Dinajpur. Disease severity of anthracnose (3.00%) was more suppressed by spraying of Copper oxycholoride. Mancozeb was effective to control die-back (3.00%) of citrus in orchards of Thakurgaon district. Disease severity of citrus was higher in orchards of Dinajpur than that of Thakurgaon in citrus regarding anthracnose and die-back but inversely for canker and scab. Scab of citrus was more suppressed than other diseases of citrus treated with Iprodione followed by other treatments in the orchards of Thakurgaon than that of Dinajpur. Copper oxychloride was more effective to control algal rust disease (2.33%) of guava. Anthracnose (3.00%) and die-back (3.00%) of guava were suppressed by Mancozeb. Disease severity of algal rust and anthracnose was higher in orchards of Dinajpur following die-back in orchards of Thakurgaon district, respectively. Algal rust of guava was more suppressed than other diseases treated with Copper oxycholoride in the orchards of Dinajpur.en_US
