The study for the safe production of country bean using eco-friendly bagging and biopesticides against pod borer, Maruca vitrata was carried out in the central farm of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur during July to December 2018. Six treatments viz. Ecomec 1.8 EC, Bioneem plus 1.0 EC, Tracer 45 SC as biopesticides, Proclaim 5 SG as synthetic pesticide, bagging and control were used against bean pod borer, Maruca vitrata on country bean. The results of the present study indicated that all the treatments had effective for the management of bean pod borer but Tracer 45 SC was more effective. Data on the number of healthy pods, number of infested pods, total number of pods per inflorescence, number of live larvae per infested pod and percent pod infestation were not significantly varied among the treatments before application the treatments. Meanwhile, after application of first, second and third treatments data on the number of healthy pods, number of infested pods, total number of pods per inflorescence and percent pod infestation among the treatments significantly differed. After application of first, second and third treatments the highest (8.43, 8.73, 6.93) number of healthy pods, the lowest (0.36, 0.20, 0.13) number of infested pods, the highest (8.80, 8.80, 7.06) number of total pods per inflorescence and the lowest (4.07, 2.30, 1.90) percentage of infested pods were found in Tracer 45 SC @ 1.0 ml/l water. On the other hand, after application of first treatment lowest (0.20) number of live larvae per infested pods was found in Proclaim 5 SG 1g/l water and after second and third application of treatment lowest (0.06, 0.00) number of live larvae per infested pods was found in Proclaim 5 SG 1.0 g/l water and Tracer 45 SC, respectively. The highest (1.19kg) yield per plant was observed in Tracer 45 SC. Bagging (1.35kg) also increased yield compared to control (0.628kg) treatment. So, the above results revealed that Tracer 45 SC 1.0 ml/l water was most effective against pod borer, Maruca vitrataen_US
