The present study was aimed to examined the impact of follicular cyst on local immune
system. A total 40 reproductive tract sample were collected from abettors. Ovarian follicular
cysts are anovulatory follicular formations found in dairy cows. Cysts were thought to be
solid objects that remained for a long duration. Uterine swabs were taken from the uterine
endometrium and mixed with 10 millilitres of PBS solution for bacterial cell culture. During
uterine samples examination, immune cells, such as neutrophils and lymphocytes were found
in follicular cystic conditions. The inflammatory response to the level of bacterial
contamination is more important than the presence of a specific type of bacteria. The current
investigation provided evidence for the localized impact of uterine bacterial contamination on
the ovary after parturition. The microbiological analysis of the uterine sample revealed E.
coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in the uterus of ovarian follicular cystic disease;
whereas, the normal uterus did not exhibit any developing bacteria. Additionally,
antibacterial antibiotic sensitivity was conducted to determine the antibiotic sensitivity of the
colonized bacteria. It was found that there was no antimicrobial resistance at all.
Histopathology of the follicular cystic ovary and uterus were carried out, which contained
inflammation and fibrous tissue. A well-developed mucosal immune system in the uterus and
ovary maintains local immunity by releasing a multitude of substances that change the way
underlying resident immune cells function and provide immunological defense against
foreign particles. So, in order to prevent metabolic issues and maximize the ration throughout
the peri-partum; health measures should be optimized during parturition and postpartum.

Present study was aimed to examine the role of Anaplasma infection as stress factor in
dairy cow. A total of 20 blood samples were collected from cyclic cow. During blood
collection BCS, body temperature were recorded. Blood samples were analyzed for
protozoa (Anaplasma) identification. Others were considered as control. Blood samples
were further examined to determine the ferritin and C – Reactive Protein (CRP) values as
a stress indicator. Results showed that the body temperature and BCS were significantly
affected (p<0.01) by the presence of Anaplasma infection. Ferritin as a stress indicator
were found significantly elevated and C – Reactive Protein (CRP) level were slightly
increased in the Anaplasma positive group but the result was not significant.

COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF GS-441524 AND GS-5734 (REMDESIVIR) FOR THE TREATMENT OF FELINE INFECTIOUS PERITONITIS DISEASE
Attempts have been taken to resolve the symptom manifested in feline infectious peritonitis
disease in cats. This study was conducted under the department of physiology and
pharmacology to determine the comparative evaluation of GS-441524 and GS-5734
(Remdesivir) for the treatment of feline infectious peritonitis in cats. A total number of 40
cats were affected with feline infectious peritonitis disease. Suspected cats were having
clinical symptoms like loss of appetite, weight loss, lameness, dark yellow urine, vomiting,
pale color mucosa etc. Therefore, several biochemical tests are available like total protein
(TP), albumin, bilirubin, SGPT, SGOT, and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) were performed
after a blood sample was collected from the patient. Serum total protein was higher and
albumin-globulin (AG) ratio was lower, and the bilirubin was higher the cat is considered as
positive for FIP. Then the FIP Ab rapid test was considering as the least confirmation of FIP
diagnosis. The FIP Ab rapid test is both the quickest and most accurate approach to
diagnosing whether a cat has feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). As a useful side result, we
now have a cure for FIP that is widely available. Group A (10 cats) was considered as
control, the cats were treated with supportive treatment like antibiotics (doxycycline),
steroid and vitamin B-complex. Group B (15 cats) was treated with GS-441524 with the
dose of 6mg/kg subcutaneously (s/c) daily for 84 days are effective respectively. Group C
(15 cats) was treated with remdesivir (GS-5734) with the dose of 15 mg/kg subcutaneously
(s/c) daily for 84 days are effective respectively. Observations were recorded for mortality
rate (%), survival rate (%), effects or side effects like diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite,
allergic reaction etc. According to the observation in group A mortality rate 95-100%, in
group B mortality rate 8-12% and in group C mortality rate 18-25%, According to the
observation in group A survival rate 5%, in group B survival rate 84-92%, in group C
survival rate 75-82%. Compare to other groups, group B shows less side effect (diarrhea,
vomiting, loss of appetite, allergic reaction etc.). According to the observation GS-441524
shows better result compared to remdesivir (GS-5734) in the treatment of feline infectious
peritonitis disease in cats.

This study was aimed to observed the blood glucose level during heat stress and use of
chromium supplement. Tweleve (12) New Zealand white rabbits were collected from
Rangpur. Four rabbits per cage in three groups [control (T0), Developed Heat stress (T1)
and Developed heat stress with chromium supplement (T2)] were selected randomly and
housed in cages for 28 days. Heat stress (38-42)C induced by using Three 200wt clear
traditional philips Bulb. Then seven days interval measure blood glucose level,
hemoglobin level, WBC count and body weight were measured in laboratory. In this
reserch outcome of blood glucose level in the first week were not significant among the
groups. But notable changes were recorded in 2nd and 3rd weeks where T1 group glucose
level was significantly higher than the control and T2 group respectively. At 4th week heat
stress condition and glucose level were more than two times higher than other groups.
The result of the hematological examination showed that, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, weeks of the
research, hemoglobin is significantly lower in T1 group but higher in control and T2
group. Incase of WBC count, higher in control group and T2 group than T1 group. The
body weight is higher in T2 group than control & T1 group. These result of the present
study suggested that glucoss level decreased in heat stress by feeding chromium
supplement.
